AI visibility: is your brand in the answer?

Some of your buyers now ask an AI assistant instead of typing into a search box. Mimir puts the questions they'd ask to Claude and Gemini, then reports whether your name comes up, where you rank and who is ahead of you.

Measure where you stand in search and in AI answers

  • Up to 5,000 pages, with about 100 rules. The crawl runs on our cloud servers, so it keeps going while your computer is off; it doesn't use AI, so it's free.

  • It puts the questions your customers would ask to them, then reports which brands come up in the answers and where you rank.

  • It sorts the issues it finds by severity and alerts you right away when something critical changes.

How it works

  1. Introduce your brand

Mimir learns your brand, products and competitors from your site; you correct the list.

  2. Pick the questions

Write the questions your customers would ask; Mimir researches and suggests more, and you choose which to track.

  3. It measures the answers

It asks the assistants you choose and records whether your brand appears, its position and the tone of the answer.

  4. It tracks over time

Measurements repeat on a schedule, so you see your ranking next to competitors and how it changes.

What is generative engine optimization (GEO)?

GEO is the work of getting your brand mentioned in the answers AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini give. Its foundation is still SEO: a crawlable site and clear, accurate product pages.

The difference is in measurement. A tool can show where you rank in search results; where you stand in an AI answer, you only find out by asking the question.

How to check your brand's visibility in AI answers

Asking one question once is misleading: answers change from question to question and from day to day. A reliable measurement asks the same set of questions on a schedule and compares the results over time.

Mimir does this in Claude and Gemini today. We're working on ChatGPT support, where you'll connect your own account.

With your own account, no API key

Measurements run on your computer with the Claude or Gemini account you connect. Mimir doesn't ask for an API key; the questions come out of your own account's usage.

The GEO screen also reads your site's SEO crawl: if a page is missing or broken on a topic where you don't appear in the answers, you see both in one place.

Frequently asked questions

Which AI assistants does it measure?

Claude and Gemini today. We're working on ChatGPT support, where you'll connect your own account. Whether ChatGPT's and Perplexity's crawlers can reach your site is already checked by the SEO crawl.

When do measurements run?

Measurements repeat on a schedule; they run while your computer is on, with the AI accounts you've connected.

Is AI usage included in the price?

No. The questions are asked from your own Claude or Gemini account, and usage comes out of that account. Mimir's plans include every module.

Is GEO the same as AEO?

They're close. AEO (answer engine optimization) covers any system that answers a question directly; GEO focuses on generative AI answers. Both aim to get your brand into the answer, and Mimir measures where you stand in those answers.

How do I improve my AI visibility?

Measure first: work done without knowing which questions you're missing from, and who appears instead, is guesswork. Then fix the foundation: crawlable pages, clear product information, correct structured data. Mimir's SEO crawl checks that foundation every day, and the Catalog module writes your product page copy.

Can I see my competitors too?

Yes. It ranks the competitors that appear in the answers, compares them with you head to head and shows the overall tone of answers about your brand.
