It compares with yesterday
Each page is compared with its previous snapshot using 32 rules: removed schema, an added noindex, a deleted page, changed content.
It ranks by severity
Issues are sorted as critical, high, medium and low; critical and high changes send a notification right away.
Monitoring, not a one-off audit
A one-off SEO audit is a snapshot of one day. An online store changes every day: new products arrive, categories move, a theme update wipes out titles. Because Mimir repeats the crawl every day, you see a problem on the day it appears.
When one change hits twenty or more pages at once, as a theme update does, Mimir writes a single line with examples instead of hundreds.
What does it check?
About a hundred rules across nine areas: indexing, crawling, on-page SEO, JSON-LD structured data, hreflang, images, performance, security and AI crawler access. The crawl also reads robots.txt, your sitemaps and llms.txt.
For page speed, it asks Google PageSpeed Insights about your home page and the pages you track.

Does the SEO audit cost extra?
No. The crawl doesn't use AI, so there's no extra charge; it's part of both the Small business and Agency plans. You can try it free for seven days, no credit card required.
How many pages does it crawl?
Up to 5,000 pages a day. On larger sites it reads the same first 5,000 pages every day and tells you how many addresses it didn't read.
Does it work on platforms other than Shopify?
Yes. The SEO crawl works on any public site, whatever platform you use: Shopify, WooCommerce, Webflow, Squarespace, ikas or a custom build.
Does the crawl keep running while my computer is off?
Yes. It runs on our cloud servers, every day, whether your computer is on or not.
How do I find out about issues?
Issues are ranked by severity. Critical and high changes send a notification right away; the rest go into the timeline.
Can AI crawlers reach my site?
Mimir checks that too: it shows which AI crawlers your robots.txt blocks, including OpenAI (ChatGPT), Perplexity, Anthropic (Claude) and Google. A blocked crawler lowers the chance that the assistant behind it quotes your site.
